This week, we’re highlighting our Taproom and Events Manager, Tyler Zari. Tyler has been with us for 2 years now. He works hard to make sure our Taproom experience is great for all who visit the brewery. He’s a great asset to Jekyll, and we appreciate what you do everyday, Tyler. Thank you.
We asked Tyler to give us a little bit of his craft beer history, and a little about his family, and here’s what he wrote- “I got into craft beer back in college with a good friend of mine and we immediately started home-brewing some of the worst beers ever made. But we kept getting deeper and deeper into craft beer, and it became a dream of mine to work in the industry. Several years after graduating, I began volunteering at Jekyll and kept showing up until they decided to pay me. That was a little over two years ago, and I’m now proud to have worked my way up from a volunteer bottler to the Taproom and Events Manager. I get to work with some of the greatest people on the planet and I’m excited for what’s to come.
I have known my wife Claire for about 12 years, and we got married in May. We have an amazing three year old pup named Shosh, and we live in Buford. My favorite beer is our American Amber aged in George Dickel barrels.”
The next time you visit the Taproom and see Tyler, give him a high five for his hard work.
