Thanks to the passage of SB63, you have another option to enjoy fresh Jekyll Brewing at home—crowlers of beer straight from the source! A crowler is similar to a growler, however instead of glass jugs, you receive a 32-ounce aluminum can. As an alternative to six-pack tour package upgrades, you can buy a tour package that includes up two two souvenir crowlers of Jekyll Brewing’s beer. You will even get to see them filled and sealed right before your eyes.
Beertenders fill the can with a little CO2, a bunch of beer, and seal it on the can seamer machine. Unlike growlers, however, the cans are one-time use only, and the beer is strictly for off-site consumption. You can pick among any of Jekyll Brewing’s fine year round brews: Southern Session, Big Creek, ‘Merican Amber, Cooter Brown, or Hop Dang Diggity; or whichever seasonal is current since that selection will vary.
To purchase a crowler, upgrade your standard tour package to include a crowler and specify the beer style. You’ve got the option of two crowlers of our year-round brews, one year-round brew and one seasonal crowler, or one seasonal crowler. In order to get your beer, you must take the tour (it’s a terrific tour, so don’t worry!).
Jekyll Brewing makes all of its beer in Alpharetta, GA and is located at 2855 Marconi Drive, Suite 350. The taproom is open for tours, tastings, and crowler upgrades Tuesday through Thursday, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., Friday 4:00 – 9:00 p.m., and on Saturdays 1:00 – 9:00 p.m. Guests may come for a tour and a crowler during the tap room’s hours of “hoperation,” and no reservations are needed to go on a tour.
